ABC Food Safety Campaign

Over 80% of the world’s almonds come from California. It is the mission of the Almond Board of California (ABC) to open markets worldwide for the state’s largest tree crop.

With a marketable crop that has tripled in size this decade, the focus on brand reputation was paramount.

Our challenge was to educate industry stakeholders on the importance of food safety and demonstrating that their actions in the orchard and processing facilities impact consumer demand for California almonds worldwide.

Utilizing a mix of communications including issues-based advertising, public relations and education vehicles, we’ve helped ABC elevate awareness of Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) among almond producers to 85%.
